In this session Alan will share his experiences on what he sees as the keys to a successful career in IT. He will show the links between motivation, performance and achievement, and discuss the importance of embracing change and the value of earning a reputation. Being resourceful, surrounding yourself with smart people and making the correct choices at the appropriate times will also be highlighted.

During this time, he has shared his ideas and experiences with others, taking an active role in organizing community events, conferences and global bootcamps, and is a regular speaker at local user groups and international conferences. He has achieved the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional status for over 15 years in several emerging technologies and has been recognized as one of the top 10 developers in Sweden.
