What is accessibility? How does it impact me?

Topic: Personal and Business Development

Language: English

Every day we hear more about the word accessibility: that we have to be accessible!, accessibility is very important!, or that we have to comply with the AA level or we can be fined! But what does all this mean?
In most cases accessibility is spoken of as a set of guides and technical standards to repeat because we have been told that this is what must be done, without knowing the reason why they should be implemented.
In this first session we will talk about accessibility, not as a set of rules, but as a way of doing things right. We'll see why accessibility should not only be thought of for a few, but how it affects each of us in ways you might never have imagined. At the end, you will be able to apply it in a more integral way in your life projects to come.

We are waiting for you.

Who is it aimed at?
The general public, entrepreneurs and business

Why should I attend?
To learn about how accessibility and inclusion impact not only people with disabilities but also, we as a society in a functional environment.

Speakers:
Juan José Montiel Pérez Senior Software Development Engineer at Microsoft. https://www.linkedin.com/in/jjmontiel/
María Acevedo Sr. UX Architect & Accessibility Evangelist. https://www.linkedin.com/in/madanielaa/
