NodeSchool San Francisco is a monthly meetup dedicated to helping people learn JavaScript. We help people of all skill levels–from beginners to experts–discover what's possible with JavaScript. Bring yourself, your computer, and the desire to learn to our next event!
Our events are an opportunity to hang out with other learners and mentors in a low stress, encouraging environment. Instead of the usual follow-along, presentation-driven workshops, learners can either work on self-paced workshoppers or hack on their own side projects. We occasionally also offer focused sessions on specific topics that will be announced ahead of time.
This event will loosely follow the following schedule:
• 1:00 - Doors open
• 1:15 - Introduction and opening announcements
• 1:40-5:00 - Learning/mentoring
• 2:30ish - Food! (If you have any dietary restrictions and/or food allergies, let us know and we will make arrangements!)
• 5:00 - Event ends
