This month in the Code Garden, Renee will delve into Python Data structures, building on last months Python basics. She'll talk you through the different options you have when you want to store something bigger or more complex than just a number or a string.
In Week 1 she'll be working with lists and tuples. She'll show you how to make them, if and when you can edit them, and utilise their many properties.
In Week 2 she'll show you the magic of Python sets, useful for storing groups of unique information. See how you can utilise them to find the overlap and difference between different sets of information.
In Week 3 she'll show you the wonderful world of dictionaries, her favourite data structure! Learn how storing key-value pairs can make programming easier!
This weeks Episode:
Grow your Data Storage Skills - Using Lists and Tuples in Python
We'll take our first steps into data structures, using lists and tuples to store many pieces of data together. We'll cover how to create lists and tuples, and what the difference is! And you'll learn how to edit and manipulate your lists, and get the info you need out of your data structures.
