With Go being one of the most popular languages for cloud native development and becoming one of the most sought after languages in the industry, Liam will take you on a journey so you can take your first steps with the language. In this series, he will start with the very basics of creating your first “Hello world” program and work through to the more complex features using pointers, channels and go routines creating fun and reusable snippets of code along the way. This series is aimed at Coding beginners, professionals and anyone who wants to learn some Go!
What is the session about?
Following on from the previous session, in this session Liam will dive a little deeper into the working parts of Go development. He will show you how to turn "Hello World" into a fully functional web server using functions, imports, error handling and testing.
