What is the session about?
Microsoft Ignite is Microsoft’s annual Developer and IT Professionals Conference. This year, it took place from 12h – 14th October 2022. Not only were there several fantastic announcements, but we were lucky to have a regional spotlight on the UK! Join our panel of Cloud Solution Architects and Cloud Advocates for an interactive discussion on the announcements from last week.

Speaker Bio's:

Steph Locke, Cloud Solution Architect Manager
Steph Locke heads up a team of digital and app innovation architects in Microsoft, helping some of the UK's biggest organisations use the cloud to deliver more value faster. She has a broad technology background in data, AI, and software and has experience running consultancies and startups. Steph loves open source, and the impact accessible tech can have on empowering people, so she dedicates her spare time to helping others improve their use of tech. She was a Microsoft Most Valued Professional for five years in a row, she sits on the board of the SQL Saturday Foundation, and she is a co-chair for the EU SME Digital Alliance AI Focus Group.

Lubna Thomas, Cloud Solution Architect, Microsoft
Lubna Thomas is a highly experienced Cloud Solution Architect in the Customer Success Team at Microsoft, with a strong background in software engineering and automation. In the last few years, she has been working with a UK enterprise to help them innovate using technology. Lubna has experience in running IT consultancies and has been involved in initiatives with schools and universities to help student embrace a career in tech. Lubna also volunteers for not-for-profit organisations to help them build better digital offerings for their consumers.
