Infrastructure for an AI Teaching Platform Using Azure | #ScaleUpThursday

23 February, 2023 | 4:30 AM - 5:30 AM (UTC) Coordinated Universal Time

  • Format:
  • alt##LivestreamLivestream

Topic: Infrastructure

Language: English

Prof Jim transforms text into interactive, cinematic courses using AI. The text could be entered by an educator or be in the form of a textbook. By doing so, an educator can have Pythagoras teach his famous Pythagorean Theorem on the shores of ancient Greece. Or an educator can build their own realistic-looking avatar to teach the same lesson. Compared to creating and editing videos using a production crew, Prof Jim’s approach is often an order of magnitude less expensive. Prof Jim’s website https://www.profjim.com/ (url) has more information on the company. In this session, we will discuss how we implemented aspects of our solution on Azure infrastructure, including our GPU renders, our web portal and our Open AI-based natural language models.

The session will focus on- Infrastructure for rendering animations, Open AI language models on Azure, hosting a website with a NoSQL database back-end on Azure.
