Power BI is one of the best visualization and analytics tool out there. The second part of this series is all about the guidelines to follow while modelling data in Power BI. Power BI dataset forms the basic component for all reporting needs. For ensuring a performant dataset it is necessary that certain guidelines and best practices to be followed. These data modelling best practices will also result in better maintainability of the data artifact. So do join me for an hour of demo loaded session on 'Power BI Data Modelling Best Practices'.
The session will focus on creating better data models in Power BI. Note that datasets/data models are created in Power BI Desktop as a tool.
Attendees will learn the various guidelines & recommendations that will help to author efficient and coherent datasets in Power BI.

Syangprova aka Swayam is working @ Microsoft as Program Manager with the Power BI Customer Advisory Team. She has 13+ years of experience, specialized on a wide breadth of MSBI technologies and dabbling with Power BI right from its initial days. Prior to MS, she was leading the Power BI CoE team and a buzzing community of data enthusiasts with one of the largest Fortune 500 FMCG companies. In that role, she helped accelerate Power BI adoption business teams globally, and shape their data-driven journey.
