Story of VS Code from its early starts in Zurich in 2012 to the latest and greatest updates from 2023.
Session will focus on: Visual Studio Code has seen some landslide victories in recent developer surveys. The latest being a 73% share in Stackoverflow's 2023 results. In this talk I will look into the evolution of VS Code and will shed some light into how we develop VS Code in the Open.
