Copilot can make it super easy to work with any app or data source in your organization. In this session we'll review customization and extensibility approaches, and demonstrate how you can build, test, debug, and deploy both a plugin and a Graph connector. We’ll also discuss extensibility administration, management, and security. You'll leave the session with practical insights, updates on new VS Code, publishing, validation, and of course, best practices from our own Microsoft engineers.

The session will focus on: Extending Microsoft 365 Copilot.

What will you learn from this session:

• The approaches for extending Microsoft 365 Copilot and when to use
which
• How to build a Message Extension plugin for Copilot
• How to build a Graph Connector for Copilot

Prerequisite for the session:
Knowledge about Microsoft 365 Copilot. Microsoft Teams Messaging extension.

Speaker Bio: BOB German

Bob German is a Cloud Developer Advocate for Microsoft focused on Microsoft 365 and Azure development, especially building apps for Microsoft Teams using the Graph API. He's been developing collaborative applications since the early days of SharePoint, and has a background in the SharePoint Framework, Azure Bot Framework, and Azure Active Directory.

Before (re)joining Microsoft, Bob was a Microsoft MVP and Principal Architect at BlueMetal, where he led the development of numerous collaborative applications, Intranets, and other custom Office 365 and Azure based solutions.
