Meeting 4: LLMOps best Practices for Taking LLM-Based Applications from Idea to Production

Description:
This hands-on session will guide participants through the entire lifecycle of bringing a Large Language Model (LLM)-based application from concept to production.

Ideation: We’ll begin with a brainstorming session to define and refine the application idea.
Proof of Concept: Next, we’ll quickly develop a proof of concept to validate the feasibility of the idea.
Application Development: Participants will learn how to build the first version of the application, including methods for evaluating its quality.
Deployment: Finally, we’ll cover the deployment process, taking the application live in a production environment.

Prerequisites

  1. Access to Azure AI Search service instance.
  2. Access to Azure AI Studio or Azure Open AI.
    In Azure AI Studio/Azure Open AI the following models should be deployed:
    • gpt-4o, gpt-4o-mini, text-embedding-ada-002
    • Pdf documents in a storage account. These documents we’re going to build RAG on top of the VS Code

In terms of permissions the particular must have following permissions:

  1. Azure AI Search : Search Service Contributor, Search Index Data Contributor
  2. Azure Open AI: Cognitive Services Contributor/User
  3. Azure AI Studio: Contributor/ Azure AI Developer (AI Studio project level)
  4. Azure Storage Account: Storage Blob Contributor/Reader
