Topic: Core AI

Microsoft Exchange Online will soon implement significant changes, including a new external recipient rate limit of 2,000 recipients per 24 hours starting January 2025 for new tenants (and July 2025 for existing tenants) and the deprecation of basic authentication for SMTP Submission in September 2025. Azure Communication Services (ACS) Email is an alternative solution being adopted by Microsoft customers who are running their business with Exchange Online, and evaluated by many others.

Join us in this Q&A style discussion where Milan Kaur engages in a conversation with Tommaso Toniolo, a senior cloud solution architect who helps Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Exchange customers navigate these changes, and Manish Sharma, the product manager for ACS Email. Together, they will discuss:

  • Common challenges Microsoft Exchange customers face with the recent changes
  • Onboarding to Azure Communication Services Email as an alternative
  • Best practices for transitioning to a platform-as-a-service model from Microsoft Exchange
