Bring all your data from everywhere into OneLake with Microsoft Fabric

25 September, 2025 | 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM (UTC) Coordinated Universal Time

  • Format:
  • alt##LivestreamLivestream

Topic: Modern Data and Analytics

Language: English

Getting data into OneLake is the first step to unlocking analytics and AI in Microsoft Fabric. In this session, we will explore some the integration options, including Shortcuts, Dataflows Gen2 and Eventstreams, and then focus on Open mirroring.

Open mirroring allows your applications or partner tools to write change data directly into a mirrored database through a landing zone. Fabric’s replication engine handles updates and converts files into Delta tables that are ready for analytics across Fabric.

You will learn how Open mirroring differs from traditional integration methods, when to use it, and how to configure it for near real-time sync. We will also share best practices for structuring mirrored data so it is easy to consume in BI and AI scenarios.

What you will learn

  • When to use pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, Eventstreams, or Open mirroring
  • How to configure Open mirroring and landing zones
  • How to prepare mirrored data for analytics and AI
  • Hackathon
