Crack code interview problems in Rust: S2 Ep3

5:00 PM

We’re back for a second series! Last time we completed the number of islands problem, and failed at Conway’s game of life as we were learning too much cool Rust. This time we’re back to work on a new set of problems. You can catch the previous season on the Microsoft Reactor YouTube channel. Interviews for coders often come with a coding challenge, using platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank. These challenges ask you to solve coding problems in a language of your choice, to show what algorithms and data structures you know, and highlight how you solve problems. Love them or hate them, being able to solve these kinds of challenges is becoming a part of interviewing for your next job. In this series, Jim is joined by Nell Shamrell-Harrington, a Principal Software Engineer at Microsoft and a member of the Rust board of directors. Our intrepid experts will try their hand at a range of coding challenges in Rust, a powerful systems programming language that is rising in popularity, and has been rated as the most loved programming language for the past 7 years in the StackOverflow survey. Jim is new to Rust, so will be learning a load of tips and techniques as he pairs with Nell to solve these challenges. As always, this will be an interactive live stream, so bring your Rust questions, and be ready to join in and help our presenters if needed! Join our Cloud Skills Challenge
