FastTrack for Azure - Zero Trust in the Cloud
Language: English
The Zero Trust strategy places emphasis on greater enterprise identity and access control. While the concepts and ideas underlying zero trust architectures are not new, the tenets behind shifting away from “trusted networks” are new to most enterprises. This transformation will be a journey for our government customers. The Identity and Network Access organization in conjunction with the FastTrack for Azure team are here to guide them on their initial approach to Zero Trust.
This training helps you apply the principles of Zero Trust to your workloads in Microsoft Azure IaaS based on a multi-disciplinary approach to applying the Zero Trust principles. Zero Trust is a security strategy. It isn’t a product or a service, but an approach in designing and implementing the following set of security principles:
- Verify explicitly
- Use least privileged access
- Assume breach
Implementing the Zero Trust mindset to “assume breach, never trust, always verify” requires changes to cloud infrastructure, deployment strategy, and implementation.
