This project aims to integrate the Petoi robot dog with the Azure Inference API. The robot dog, used in STEM projects, has four legs and eight joints, all of which can move independently. The objective of this project is to enable communication with the robot dog in human language and to utilize the API to comprehend commands. A script written in Python allows the user to speak a sentence to the robot dog, which then understands and executes the corresponding command. For example, when the user says, "Hey buddy, the weather is so good and I want to walk," the robot executes the "kwkF" command to start walking. The project currently uses Azure text-to-speech and Azure Inference API. Additionally, this project is a RAG project, meaning it involves Retrieval-Augmented Generation techniques to enhance the robot's capabilities.

In this session, we'll learn how to create a hotel reservation assistant using Copilot Studio. We will learn how to use copilot studio actions to connect an external hotel reservation API in order to integrate our assistant with the Hotel Reservation System that allows us to get hotels availability in an area or get availability of a specific accommodation. We can get the final prices for a specific stay, and of course it will allow us to confirm a reservation.

In this session Allen will demonstrate how to use Azure AI Studio with OpenAI and open-source technology to create an entire team of AI Agent co-workers that you could use to operate a one person company, automating covering everything from research, marketing, legal and sales if you wished. This will be demo heavy with live coding and will show what can be achieved today using the Azure and AI ecosystem that was unthinkable even 12 months ago. You may not want to automate an entire company, but the possibilities of streaming lining processes in any organisation in individual departments to your most important resources, you people, to focus on more important work is incredible.
