The workshop is designed to introduce participants to the fundamentals of Git, a distributed version control system. The session will cover the importance of source control, the features of Git, and practical demonstrations of Git commands and workflows. Attendees will gain hands-on experience through labs and demos, learning how to set up Git, make commits, manage branches, and handle merge conflicts. Ohad Schneider is a Principal Infrastructure Architect at Microsoft with over 10 years of experience as a software developer. He holds an MSc in Mathematics from the Open University and Tel Aviv University
