Speaker Bio: Chris Huntingford, Director, Global Power Apps Lead I’m a geek and proud to admit it! I’m also a rather large, talkative South African who plays drums, wears horrendous Hawaiian shirts and has an affinity for engaging in as many social gatherings as humanly possibleI have an intense enthusiasm for technology. I am a terrific tinkerer, a passionate problem solver and a magical maker. As long as I am creating something, I feel fulfilled. Technology provides me with my creative outlet, especially in a digital format. My core focus is on the Microsoft Power Platform, a perfect consolidation of digital technology creating a symphony between both right and left brain hemispheres.I love to explore the huge mountain of digital building bricks provided by Microsoft to create amazing solutions and solve real problems. Speaker Bio: Damien Bird, Cloud Solutions Architect, Microsoft Damien Bird is a Microsoft Cloud Solution Architect, ex Business Applications MVP 2022 and Power Automate Super User. He was massively into competitive sports but after a sudden cardiac arrest in 2020, he took his enthusiasm to the Microsoft Technical community via the support forum. He has blogged and produced YouTube videos (as DamoBird365) for the past 18 months. PowerShell and Batch scripting is where his automation journey started in the Public Sector almost 20 years ago and it wasn’t until recently that he started his private sector career. Now, he loves everything Power Automate, writing expressions and playing with JSON arrays.

Speaker Bio: Joe Griffin, Microsoft MVP, CEO at proMX UK Limited My name’s Joe Griffin, and I’m Director & Principal Consultant at SOLO Cloud Solutions. I hold various Microsoft certifications in Dynamics CRM/365 Customer Engagement, Azure, Power BI and SQL Server and am also a PRINCE2 Project Manager and Agile Practitioner. I have a broad knowledge of working with and managing projects involving Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Azure, Power BI, .NET and other technologies within the Microsoft cloud stack. During this time, I’ve developed a keen interest in coding, and love working with Transact-SQL, JScript, PowerShell, DAX & C#. Thanks to my previous experience, I have practical knowledge operating within the energy efficiency, managed services, retail, print & direct mail and utility sectors. This session will cover how to get started, aspects of Dataverse, and how to set up create, and embed a basic form with a custom table, customise the profile page, create a list view to show submitted records and interact with your data, and a few tips and tricks along the way. This is aimed at those with an interest in understanding the Power Platform as well as those with an interest in how each component can be used alongside traditional development techniques to deliver business solutions. Recently I have been leading multiple Power Portal projects and helping to extend Finance and Operations and leveraging Dual-write and Dataverse. What really inspires me is how technology and the Power Platform specifically can be rapidly leveraged to solve real-world problems, help others, and make a change for good, it’s something I find really empowering.
